Welcome, one and all, to another new month here at VMKMagic. This month is all about you, the members that make VMKMagic the place it is today. Let's face it, without members, VMKMagic would be a lonely pile of code and color, sitting around without any discussion or activity to be enjoyed. We're a forum, a community, and even better, a family. I'll skip the emotional stuff though and get to the point: September at VMKMagic is Member Appreciation Month!

This month we're going to host contests aimed at celebrating the community, fun posts and events geared toward celebrating you and VMKMagic's history (don't forget VMKMagic turns five this month!), and more. We've gone ahead and assembled some plans for the month already. But, given the month's theme, it's only appropriate to gather some suggestions on what you want to see. So leave a response to this thread with any ideas you have for the month! We want suggestions for contests, front page posts, small site improvements, and anything else you can think of. We can't do everything (after all, we're not all robots), but we always love to hear your suggestions, especially when it comes to our monthly shenanigans.

Yet another exciting month has gone by here on VMKMagic. This month, VMKMagic celebrated music with a Disney twist. We dedicated this entire month to the wonderful world of Disney music. This is just a small sample of all the action VMKMagic has seen this month. Let's take a closer look at everything Jammin' August had to offer!

Music Notes For Your Posts! - Last time, a new mini-feature was introduced, Music Notes for your Profile! Now, we introduce to you Music Notes for your Posts! You will use a special BB Code to put music notes behind the header area of your post, your signature, or wherever else you choose to put it.[/left]


Disk Design Star Contest Results - VMKMagic announces the winners to the Disk Design Star contest. It was your task to create your very own, unique CD cover! The top three submissions received a Grand Prize award, the remaining seven submissions received the Runner Up Award, and ALL participants received a Vinyl Record Pin.

Where in the Disney World? - VMKMagic's weekly competition where we give you a picture of some place in Disney, and you tell us where the picture was taken at. If you get it right, you are put into a drawing. Two random users will be selected each week to receive a sweet "WITDW Award"!

BeeVee Trivia - VMKMagic's other weekly contest asks you a trivia question, and you tell us the answer to that trivia questions. Like WITDW, if you get it right you get entered into the drawing. The two randomly selected winners receive a "BeeVee Trivia Award"!

Disney Master - Disney Master returns to VMKMagic as a weekly contest that asks you a trivia question, and you tell us the answer to that trivia questions. Like WITDW and BeeVee Trivia, if you get it right you get entered into the drawing. The two randomly selected winners receive a "Disney Master Trivia Award" and Membership to the E-Crew!

VMK's Music Games - VMK introduced us to two amazing minigames, the Street Party Music Game and the Monorail Music Mixer. You were given the opportunity to create your own mixes with the samples that was provided.

What is your favorite music genre? - Some music makes you happy, some music makes you emotional, and other music helps you get through tough times in your life. Most people have a genre of music that they especially like to listen to. Attached to the post was a poll which you used to vote on your favorite genre(s) of music.

What is your favorite Disney music? - Music is used to express feelings and emotions, no matter where it is heard. With Disney, you hear it everywhere you are, whether it be in the movies, in the parks, or even watching TV. Most people have favorite Disney music that they especially like to listen to. Attached to the post was a poll which you could use to vote on your favorite type(s) of Disney music.

Radio Disney - Everyone has heard of Radio Disney before. You know, "Your Music, Your Way"? Listening to songs from your favorite Disney Channel movies, along with songs from Hollywood Records. Well freddys gave you a little bit more information on the popular radio station.

Disk Design Star Top 10 Judging - The VMKMagic staff went through several rounds of intense judging to bring you the Top Ten Entries of our Disk Design Star Contest. It's time for you to vote for your favorite!
